Written by Saul Caganoff | Sep 1, 2019 11:40:09 PM

Tickets have been selling fast for APIdays Melbourne on September 19th and 20th. So far we've been offering the early-bird price but the agenda is now complete and tickets go to full price tonight after 10pm.

Act now because early-bird season ends tonight at 10pm!

This year we've put together a fantastic agenda with international keynote speakers, workshops, three break-out streams an exhibition and a cocktail party.

Our main themes in the 2019 agenda revolve around:

  • API design, management and developer experience featuring some fabulous overseas expertise from Matthias Biehl and Mehdi Medjaoui, authors and API experts. Matthias is a proficient API author and educator and will give a keynote on his latest book topic, building digital ecosystems with APIs.
  • Our API strategy stream features case studies, open banking as well as a panel session with some local technology leaders - Teresa Finlayson, CIO of Monash University, Sergei Komarov, Chief Architect of NAB and Russell Parker, CIO of Service Victoria. We’re pleased to also have Gus Balbontin investor and ex-CTO of Lonely Planet as our lock-note speaker talking about how to foster a culture of innovation.
  • Modern systems architecture covers topics such as Kubernetes, event-driven architecture, microservices and serverless. Here we are pleased to have Craig Box, Lead Developer Advocate from Google Cloud out from the UK to give an inside view into how Google uses containers and the evolution of Kubernetes.
  • We've got some great talks looking into the future of technology with AI/ML, conversational APIs and a mind-bending keynote from Adam Mukarech on how APIs enable access to the world of quantum computing.

In addition to amazing talks from across the technology community we've got workshops from our sponsors, an exhibition space and a cocktail party on the 19th. There’s always great networking and like past attendees we know you will find APIdays an enjoyable and valuable experience.

Early-bird tickets are available today only until 10pm at: APIdays.co/melbourne.
